8. Food and Drink for Sport - Introduction


No matter how much physical activity you take part in, you should aim to eat a healthy, balanced diet to provide you with all the nutrients you need.

Starchy and other forms of carbohydrates are the main sources of energy for physical activity, enabling you to perform at your best, and reducing risks of fatigue.

Over the coming weeks I will be uploading a series of posts describing different ways that food and drink can be used to compliment your sport and physical activities.
